Residents of Anyako Kpota, specifically around the Police Station area, now have improved access to clean drinking water following the installation of an automated mechanized standpipe.
The facility utilizes a smart prepaid electronic card payment model. Users load funds onto their cards and tap them against an electronic sensor on the standpipe to dispense water. The system automatically dispenses water as long as there is an active connection and available credit, stopping immediately once the card is detached or the balance runs out.
This digital approach aims to enhance convenience, streamline service delivery, and foster transparency in local water management.
