The Ghana Police Service has commended the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, following the renovation and official handover of the Kpando Police District Headquarters.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the Deputy Volta North Regional Police Commander, ACP Cuthbert Aapengnuo, expressed sincere appreciation to the MCE for investing in local law enforcement. He highlighted the importance of such support in boosting policing efforts and encouraged other regional stakeholders to follow Hon. Donkor’s example.
In response, the MCE reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening local safety, announcing plans to build additional police stations on designated plots across the municipality to extend coverage and bolster public security.
ACP Aapengnuo assured community members that the Police Command will properly maintain the newly rehabilitated facility while remaining dedicated to upholding peace and order throughout the district.
