Residents of Ketu South have held a massive and peaceful demonstration to protest against the current Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) billing system.
Dubbed "Enough is Enough," the rally aimed to urge the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) and the government to intervene in what residents describe as excessive and unreasonable electricity charges. Demonstrators expressed deep frustration over the financial strain caused by these inflated monthly bills.
Protesters appealed directly to both ECG management and the PURC to address the billing discrepancies promptly and implement a fair, accurate system for the community.
