The newly completed projects include a dedicated Kindergarten Block at Anlo State School in Keta and a modern 3-Unit Classroom Block at Atiavi-Atsime M/A Basic School.

These new facilities come as a much-needed relief to teachers, students, and community members, significantly addressing overcrowding and physical infrastructure deficits in the benefiting schools. By providing safe, conducive, and well-equipped classrooms, the assembly aims to enhance early childhood development and improve basic education delivery across both urban and rural communities in the municipality.

The colorful commissioning ceremony brought together key local government officials, traditional leaders, educators, and excited community residents. Notable dignitaries in attendance included the Member of Parliament for Keta, Hon. Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Wisdom Seade, both of whom reiterated their shared commitment to elevating educational standards in the region.

Speaking at the handover, community leaders praised the assembly for prioritizing education and urged school management to ensure proper maintenance of the facilities. The assembly also assured residents that it will continue to invest in vital social infrastructure to unlock the potential of young learners and foster sustainable development throughout the Keta Municipality.
