Hon. Sebastian Deh, Member of Parliament for Kpando, has expressed profound gratitude to the people of his constituency for their overwhelming turnout and active participation during a recent working visit by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA). In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook, the MP highlighted the collective effort of traditional leaders, business owners, farmers, youth, assembly members, and all other stakeholders who turned up in large numbers to engage meaningfully with the visit.

The MP specifically thanked the Chiefs, Entrepreneurs, Farmers, Youth, Assembly Members and all stakeholders, using the word “Akpe nami” – meaning “Thank you” in the local Ewe language. He noted that their impressive presence and engagement demonstrated to the world that Kpando is deeply committed to advancing agriculture and creating sustainable job opportunities for its people.

From Afarinik Farm through Torkor Irrigation, Tropiga Farms, and the cluster farms at Gadza, the constituency showcased its rich agricultural potential and readiness for development. These sites served as powerful symbols of what coordinated efforts between government, local leadership, and private sector players can achieve in transforming the agricultural landscape of the area.

Hon. Deh emphasized that the successful visit marks not an end, but a beginning. “The work continues,” he affirmed, calling on all residents to remain united in building a prosperous Kpando Constituency together. His message underscores a vision of collaborative development focused on agriculture-driven growth and employment creation.

This show of unity and purpose during the MoFA working visit reinforces Kpando’s position as a constituency serious about harnessing its agricultural strengths for the benefit of current and future generations. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to sustain this momentum as Hon. Sebastian Deh and his team continue working towards a brighter future for the area.
