Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor Set to Support Transitioning BECE Candidates Into the SHS

As part of the continuous commitment to advancing quality education and expanding opportunities for the young people of South Tongu, The Member of Parliament; Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor plans a strategic support for young students who will be moving into the Senior High Schools this year.

In a collaborative engagement with the South Tongu Education Directorate and its management team, plan have been made to initiate the support.

The engagement centred on an educational support package from the MP’s office aimed at providing essential items, including chop boxes and mattresses, to selected BECE graduates.

This intervention is designed to complement the efforts of parents and ensure that deserving students commence their second-cycle education with the necessary support.

To guarantee equal representation across the constituency, I have directed that all twelve educational circuits in South Tongu benefit from this initiative. The circuits are:

• Adutor

• Agave

• Agordomi

• Dabala

• Dabala Junction

• Danyikpo

• Sogakope East

• Sogakope West

• Kpotame

• Larve

• Lolito-Nyinuto

• Tefle

Nonetheless, Hon. Lukutor requested that the best-performing BECE graduate from each circuit be identified and honoured for their exceptional academic achievement.

These outstanding students will receive Certificates of Excellence, educational storybooks and other surprise packages as recognition of their hard work and as encouragement to continue pursuing academic excellence.
