The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu Hon. Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze on 2nd August, 2026 have embarked on a swift inspection role on the ongoing Mafi-Kumase–Vudukpo–Avedo–Dabala Junction Road.
The Mafi-Kumase - Dabala-Junction road is a key major road linking the Central Tongu and South Tongu through the shared food hub. This road project is amongst the numerous road construction projects captured under the John Dramani Mahama led Big Push Programme.
Hon. Hottordze upon his visit, urged the contractors to step up the pace of work to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe.
He have also instructed the contractors to take temporary corrective measures on sections of the road that have become inaccessible due to the ongoing construction, to ease movement and reduce the inconvenience to motorists and residents while the construction works continue.
This is a step forward fir the people of Central Tongu as they begin to see the birth of infrastructure development in their district.
