Hon. Frank Afriyie Empowers Afadzato South Youth with Essential Tools and Equipment

The Member of Parliament for Afadzato South, Hon. Frank Afriyie, supported the presentation of essential tools and equipment to master trainers and apprentices under the National Youth Authority (NYA) programme. The event, which took place on March 27, 2026, at the Afadzato South Assembly Hall, marks another significant step toward equipping young people in the constituency with practical, employable skills designed to foster long-term self-reliance.

The presentation ceremony brought together local artisans, apprentices, community leaders, and constituency executives who gathered to celebrate the initiative. Hon. Afriyie highlighted that providing high-quality tools directly to master trainers and trainees ensures that learning goes beyond theoretical knowledge to hands-on mastery. By reducing financial barriers for apprentices, the initiative aims to accelerate their transition into fully fledged, income-generating professionals.

This initiative aligns seamlessly with the core vision and policy objectives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the leadership of John Dramani Mahama. Central to the NDC’s vision is a deliberate focus on youth empowerment, comprehensive skills development, and sustainable job creation. Empowering local talent with the resources needed to succeed in vocational trades remains a cornerstone of driving rural economic growth and national progress.

Reaffirming his commitment to his constituents, Hon. Frank Afriyie emphasized that he remains fully dedicated to championing programmes that bring direct, meaningful change to the lives of the people, especially the youth. He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the equipment effectively to build strong livelihoods, mentor future apprentices, and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic advancement of the Afadzato South constituency.
