The District Chief Executive for South Tongu District, Hon. Dzeklo Victoria have announced that field coordination, technical mapping, and engineering assessments for the 25 approved Ministry of Energy’s Self-Help Electrification Programme (SHEP) beneficiary locations have been successfully completed across the South Tongu District.
The DCE's actions is one in the direction of preparing all grounds suitable for the commencement of the said project in the district. These three core technicalities makes sure that ground work execution matches with the blueprint making it the backbone of all construction.
These efforts are geared towards John Dramani Mahama's keen initiative to extend electricity to all parts of Ghana being it a village or town.
Hon. Victoria Dzeklo is working closely with the Member of Parliament, Hon Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, project engineers, and community leaders, to extend stable electricity grid connections across South Tongu's underserved communities.
This milestone brings South Tongu closer to the goal of total rural electrification and sustainable local development.
