Hon. Bernard Edem Kofi Dzinyela, ESQ., has demonstrated his commitment to youth development and education by donating sporting items, food supplies, and cash to support the South Tongu District Inter - Zonal Basic Schools Sports Tournament.
The tournament, held last week at Dabala Senior High Technical School, brought together talented young sportsmen and sportswomen from the district’s four educational zones. The participating zones included:

Zone Three: Dabala Junction, Agbakope, Agbagorme, Hikpo, Dorkplame, Tsavanya, Tordzinu, and surrounding communities.
Zone Four: Adutor, Larve, Gamenu, Agorta, Akalove, Gonu, Agordomi, Dzogborve, Lolito, Atravenu, and Galo - Sota.
The annual sporting event featured a variety of athletic competitions designed to promote physical fitness, discover sporting talent, encourage discipline, and strengthen teamwork among pupils across the district.
To ensure the successful organisation of the tournament, Hon. Bernard Dzinyela, ESQ., donated bags of sachet water, bags of rice, canned tomato paste, other essential food items and cash to support the organisers and participating zones. His generous contribution helped provide the logistics and refreshments needed throughout the competition.
The gesture was warmly received by the organisers, participating zones and community members, who expressed dedication to education and youth development.
Hon. Dzinyela’s support underscores the vital role that community leaders and stakeholders play in promoting sports as a tool for nurturing young talent, building character, and creating opportunities for the next generation in the South Tongu District.
