Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie Donates Relief Support to Flood-Hit Gakli Community

The Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has extended relief support to residents of Gakli and surrounding areas severely affected by recent flooding triggered by heavy rains. The MP visited the community on both Wednesday and Saturday to personally assess the extent of the damage and distribute essential aid to those impacted. Her timely intervention comes as the community continues to recover from the devastating effects of the floods, which disrupted lives and property in the area.

Hon. Gomashie praised the people of Gakli for their remarkable resilience, unity, and proactive self-help spirit. In her message of appreciation, she highlighted how residents had already taken the initiative to drain excess water from the community even before her arrival. The MP assured residents that other communities impacted by the flooding would also receive necessary assistance through the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).
