The Hohoe Municipal Assembly has issued a public announcement urging motorists, commercial drivers, motorcyclists, and all road users to exercise patience as major construction works continue on the Home-Builders - GBI Godenu stretch of the road. Dated 26th June 2026, the notice highlights the ongoing project and calls for full compliance with all traffic management measures in place at the construction site.
Authorities are appealing to the general public to strictly adhere to all road signs, warning notices, diversions, and directives issued by contractors and traffic management personnel. The Assembly emphasized that cooperation from road users is essential to ensure the safety of both workers and commuters while the vital infrastructure improvement progresses.
The statement further reminded the public that any deliberate disregard for road signs, barricades, or lawful directives at the site would be dealt with appropriately. This warning serves as a stern reminder to maintain order and prevent unnecessary disruptions during the construction period.
While acknowledging the temporary challenges the works may pose to daily travel, the Hohoe Municipal Assembly expressed regret for any inconveniences caused to residents and road users.
