The Member of Parliament for the Hohoe Constituency, Hon. Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, have engaged in a partnership initiative with Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, from 30th July to 2nd August 2026 to provide free eye surgery to the people of Hohoe and its environs at the Hohoe Regional Hospital.
The exercise was part of his 5 days free medical outreach which has been announced.The initiative aims to restore sight and improve the quality of life for people suffering from eye conditions who are unable to afford the cost of surgery, which can exceed GH¢15,000.
Hon. Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo assured the public that individuals who were unable to undergo the procedure during this exercise will be given another opportunity, as a subsequent phase of the programme will be scheduled to ensure more residents benefit from this life-changing initiative.
This humanitarian intervention reflects a continued commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for the people of Hohoe Constituency, aligning with one core aims of H.E John Dramani Mahama.
