Hon. Frank Afriyie (MP, Afadzato South)

The Member of Parliament for Afadzato South, Hon. Frank Afriyie, has announced the official release of land for the construction of a new Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound in Have. The milestone comes following months of persistent lobbying, stakeholder engagements, and rigorous follow-ups by the lawmaker to address the pressing health infrastructure needs of the community.

The decision was finalized after a series of fruitful consultations involving the Afadzato Health Directorate, local Chiefs, and key community stakeholders. By coming together to approve and hand over the site, the leadership of Have has paved the way for modern health infrastructure that will bring primary healthcare services directly to the doorstep of residents, reducing the need for long-distance travel to access basic medical attention.

Expressing his deep gratitude, Hon. Frank Afriyie commended the traditional authorities and health directors for their cooperation and shared vision for community development. He also extended special appreciation to Hon. Edudzi Tamakloe for his invaluable support throughout the process, noting that collaborative efforts between leaders and key allies remain vital to driving meaningful progress across the constituency.

With the site officially secured, preparations for the next phases of development are set to begin. Hon. Afriyie reaffirmed his unyielding commitment to prioritizing healthcare, education, and infrastructural growth in Afadzato South, assuring constituents that he will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the project is fully realized for the benefit of all.
