The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) College has organized an orientation session on the Automated Fire Compliance and Safety System (AFCAS) at Kyebi-Akwadum to equip officers with the skills needed to operate the digital platform.
The AFCAS platform is designed to streamline fire safety compliance, enhance property monitoring and registration, and significantly cut down on administrative delays and paper usage.
Addressing the officers, Divisional Officer Grade One (DOI) Emmanuel Bonney, the GNFS Public Relations Officer, advised personnel to maintain professionalism on social media and refrain from engaging in unhealthy online disputes with members of other security agencies.
In his remarks, the Commandant of the College, Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) James Christian Nii Klottey Ankrah, called on relevant authorities and stakeholders to provide infrastructural upgrades and critical logistics to boost training and operational efficiency at the institution.
