Ghana is aggressively marketing itself as a competitive destination for global business process outsourcing (BPO) and digital services, highlighted by a high-level executive roundtable held in London.
Organized by the Business Outsourcing Services Association of Ghana (BOSAG) in collaboration with partners including the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and UK counterparts, the event brought together global business services leaders to explore investment opportunities in Ghana’s growing outsourcing sector.
Participants discussed Ghana’s advantages, including a youthful, educated workforce, improving digital infrastructure, competitive operational costs, and a stable business environment. The roundtable forms part of broader efforts during the Ghana-UK Investment Summit to attract foreign direct investment in services.
BOSAG reaffirmed its commitment to building industry collaboration, skills development, and policy advocacy to position Ghana as a scalable, tech-driven outsourcing destination in Africa.
“Ghana is open for business and ready to partner with international players seeking reliable, high-quality service delivery,” a participant emphasized.
This initiative comes amid Ghana’s broader economic strategy to diversify beyond mining and agriculture, leveraging the ACFTA and digital economy growth. Success in this area could create thousands of jobs and boost foreign exchange earnings in the coming years.
