Four Dead in Fatal Crash at Anyinasin Junction on Accra-Kumasi Highway

​Four persons have lost their lives in a tragic road accident involving a Toyota Voxy and a MAN Diesel trailer at Anyinasin Junction on the Accra-Kumasi Highway. The fatal collision occurred on Monday, September 28, 2026, causing severe vehicular damage and significantly disrupting traffic along the busy highway corridor.

​Emergency services were alerted swiftly, prompting a rapid deployment from the Bunso Fire Station. A seven-member crew of firefighters arrived at the scene to find victims trapped within the wreckage, immediately initiating extrication operations while securing the area to prevent secondary collisions.

​Through the coordinated efforts of the rescue team, the trapped victims were freed from the mangled vehicles, and the scene was successfully managed. Firefighters remained on-site to assist with clearing debris and restoring the safe flow of traffic along the stretch.
