PICTURES: South Tongu DCE Offers Heartwarming Support on African Child Celebration 2026

The District Chief Executive for South Tongu, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Lukutor, and the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, donated sanitary pads, exercise books, and GHS 1,000.00 to support the African Child Celebration 2026, which was held at the Global Evangelical Church in Sogakope.

Hon. Victoria Dzeklo was accompanied by the Presiding Member for South Tongu, Hon. Mensah Kwaku Kudze, along with Hon. Johnson Amendzo and Hon. Francis Agbedekey.

While making the presentation, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo underscored the critical role of education and good hygiene for girls. She emphasized that providing young girls with quality education and menstrual hygiene support is vital for their overall growth and development.

The donation highlights the strong commitment of the government and local authorities to advancing the welfare and education of children across the South Tongu District.
