Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings Appointed Minister of Environment Science and Technology

Hon. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings; Ghanaian medical doctor, politician, and the Member of Parliament for the Klottey-Korle Constituency have been appointed the New Minister for Environment Science and Technology.

Her appointment follows after the President John Dramani Mahama prompted to undertake a Ministerial Reshuffle exercise to fill the gaps of the late former ministers of State who lost their lives in the August 6 helicopter crash.

Dr. Zanetor is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the eldest daughter of Ghana's former President Jerry John Rawlings and former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings

This gesture from the President is one that is most commendable as it paves way for hardworking government officials especially women to know that they have a role to play in nation building.
