2 min read

Ghanaian workers were celebrated for their tireless efforts in driving the nation’s progress, with prominent NDC member Hon. Dr. Robert Kofi Doh extending heartfelt appreciation. Speaking at the Borborbor Carnival in Ho Central Constituency, Dr. Doh acknowledged the crucial role workers play in Ghana’s development, from farms to factories.

Addressing the workers during the carnival he bankrolled, Doh stressed the gesture is a token of appreciation to Ghana’s workers, a symbol of recognition for their dedication and hard work. “The sweat of workers builds our nation,” Dr. Doh emphasized, urging recognition of their labor and protection of their rights.

He commended the resilience of Ghanaian workers, citing their contributions to the country’s GDP per Capita. Dr. Doh called on workers to maintain a sense of ownership and responsibility, safeguarding national assets as if they were personal properties. His message resonated with the audience, as workers from various sectors gathered to celebrate their day.

Ho Central, with its thriving youthful working class population of educational, health, telco, and fintech workers, alongside farmers and traders from surrounding communities, was abuzz with energy. The constituency’s dynamic workforce is driving growth and innovation, and Dr. Doh’s message acknowledged their vital role in shaping Ghana’s future.

The event, themed “Ho is Rising,” was designed to appreciate the dedication and hard work of Ho Central Constituency workers. Dr. Doh’s words of encouragement were met with enthusiasm, as workers reaffirmed their commitment to Ghana’s progress.

The celebration highlighted the importance of fair wages, decent work, and social justice for Ghanaian workers. As the country looks to the future, the contributions of its workforce will remain vital to its growth and development. Dr. Doh’s call to action is expected to galvanize workers and inspire continued dedication to Ghana’s development.
