Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu today commissioned a newly completed two-storey boys’ dormitory block at Vakpo Senior High Technical School (VASTEC).
The modern facility aims to improve boarding conditions and support a better learning environment for students at the school. The ceremony was attended by school authorities, traditional leaders, students and other stakeholders.
Hon. Gunu stressed the importance of quality educational infrastructure in promoting academic excellence and youth development across the Volta Region. He noted that the project would help ease accommodation challenges faced by male students.
The new dormitory marks another step in efforts to upgrade secondary school facilities in the area, with VASTEC set to benefit from the improved space.
