Two Bolgatanga SHS Security Guards Sexually Assault Autistic Student

Adams Nyaaba, 72, and Elvis Adongo, 32 both security staff at Bolgatanga Girls Senior High School are facing allegations of repeatedly assaulting a student living with autism on campus premises.

​Reports from within the school detail a sequence of four separate incidents spanning late June and early July 2026:

Late June 2026 following prep hours, one guard on patrol reportedly enticed the student toward a secluded area behind the school's dining hall with an offer of food, where the initial assault allegedly occurred.

Days Later the second guard allegedly abused the victim at dawn inside the main security guardhouse. The student had visited the booth to retrieve her tablet computer, which she had left there overnight to charge.

Early July 2026 according to school officials, each guard carried out a second assault under similar circumstances, bringing the total number of alleged occurrences to four.
