The Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu assures trained teachers who have applied for the ongoing teacher recruitment by the Ministry of Education led by Hon Haruna Idrisu, to remain calm. He stressed that the Ministry is doing everything possible to find space for all who have duly applied for the service.
Hon. James Gunu made these points at Anfoega Senior High Technical School (ANFOESEC) when giving a speech at the a sod-cutting ceremony earlier this week. "To those who have applied to go into the classrooms to work, do not worry. The President and the Ministry of Education are working to find space for all of you; there is hope for you all " he stated.
Even though tension amongst trained teachers who are yet to get employed remain high, the minister’s remarks have cooled it down.The Regional Minister’s remarks have been one of the most talked about in the country.
Expectations from applicants are getting more higher than ever, hopes are clocking higher and the curiosity is also high. Hon. James Gunu’s remarks have spark a lot of social commentary and debate amongst Ghanaians.
