Solace Kutorglo Empowers Ketu South Women’s Wing with Free Skills Training

The Ketu South Women’s Wing, NDC Women’s Organizer Solace Kutorglo in her bid to reorganise and energise women, has launched a free skills training initiative targeting local women and young maidens.

​The program, rolled out as part of her comprehensive tour of women’s groups across the constituency, aims to address local unemployment and reduce the high rate of low-skilled labor. Participants will receive practical instruction in several vocations, including bead making, soap and detergent production, and baking.

​According to Kutorglo, equipping young women with practical expertise is the most effective way to help them achieve economic independence and job readiness. She noted that the initiative aligns directly with former President John Mahama’s vision of ensuring all young people acquire marketable skills and handicrafts.

​The initiative has drawn strong support from the Ketu South Women’s Wing, who continue to back Kutorglo’s efforts to drive socio-economic development across the constituency.
