Oti Region: NPP social media campaigners call on delegates to maintain Evans Daapah as regional chairman



The New Patriotic Party will hold elections soon to pick new party executives to oversee the party’s operations strategically to break the 8 year jinx of governance.
The current and incumbent Oti Regional Chairman, Evans Yaw Dapaah and his first vice chairman Mr Agyie Ntim are currently leading the chairmanship campaign, as their names continue to trend in the Oti Region.
A group calling itself NPP Social Media Campaigners is pushing for the selection and retaining of the incumbent chairman, Evans Dapaah to accomplish his unprecedented performance in the 2020 elections
The group claims to have conducted eight (8) Constituencies polls, the results of which proved that Mr Dapaah will make it easier for the party to win them parliamentary seats, increase presidential votes, unite the party and strategic for 2024 elections.
Spokesperson of the group, Nyimba Richmond Dogo said any other choice will spell doom for the party’s performance in the Oti Region.
According to him, one other candidates is included in the polls but all fingers were pointing to one direction-Evans Dapaah.
“Chairman Evans has shown his commitment and capacity to unite NPP in Oti Region. Well, to our potential members and delegates who sincerely desire to know why wethinks is the most appropriate choice of leader, certainly, a number of factors should help the party decide”
“We’re very close to achieving positive results; retain the grassroot chairman, Evans Dapaah,” he said.
He further explained with proven records showing the performance of the chairman in the 2020 elections and why he should be retained.
They therefore call on delegates to critically choose between a grassroot leader who’s accessible, selfless with records and competent ahead of aggressive who can’t be found anywhere in the region after they win.
“Chairman Evans went to camping with us in all the Constituencies in 2024, he’s now popular like the MP’s and we don’t want to go and be doing some introductions before our massage so please the delegates should retain him with confidence and comfortable reasons,” they added.
