North Dayi Constituency will on Monday, 27th July 2026, host a significant sod-cutting ceremony for multiple educational infrastructure projects aimed at improving learning facilities across the area. The event will be graced by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, alongside Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister; Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh, Member of Parliament for North Dayi; and Hon. Adevor Ernest, Municipal Chief Executive for North Dayi.
The projects include a 3-unit classroom block at Aveti-Denui D/A Junior High School in Anfoega, an 18-unit classroom block at Vakpo Senior High School, a 2-storey girls’ dormitory block at Anfoega Senior High School, a 3-unit classroom block at Tsrukpe Zanukofe D/A Junior High School, a 2-storey boys’ dormitory block at Vakpo Senior High Technical School, and a 3-unit classroom block at Botoku Bradatornu D/A Junior High School. These developments form part of ongoing efforts to expand and upgrade school infrastructure in the constituency.
The ceremony will take place at three campuses on the same day: Anfoesee Campus at 10:00 a.m., Vastec Campus at 11:30 a.m., and Vasec Campus at 12:30 p.m. Officials and community members are expected to gather at these locations to mark the official start of construction works.
The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing access to quality education in North Dayi by providing modern classrooms and dormitory facilities that will benefit hundreds of students in the years ahead.
