New Classroom Block Completed at Nyitawuta D.A Basic School: Set for Official Handover

​A newly constructed three-unit classroom block equipped with essential ancillary facilities has been completed at Nyitawuta D.A. Basic School in the Akatsi North District. A delegation recently inspected the facility to evaluate the finished work following the completion of construction. The modern infrastructure is expected to significantly expand classroom capacity and create a far more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

​The project officially commenced in February 2026 and was executed efficiently to meet the critical infrastructure needs of the school. With construction now fully wrapped up, the facility stands ready to welcome pupils and staff, addressing long-standing space constraints that previously affected daily academic activities in the community.

​Currently, the project is awaiting a formal handing-over ceremony to officially transfer the infrastructure to the school administration and the local community. Once handed over, the new block will immediately serve local learners, marking a major milestone in improving educational access and standards within the district.
