Hon. Daniel Hamenu (popularly known as Chica), the Acting Volta Regional Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has formally announced his candidacy for the Deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer position in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) reorganization scheduled for November.
In an official statement released today, Hon. Hamenu explained that his bid is driven by years of active grassroots service, personal sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the NDC.
"My name is Daniel Hamenu (Chica), and I am officially declaring my intention to contest for the position of Deputy Volta Regional Youth Organizer in the upcoming NDC party reorganization this November," he stated.
Reflecting on his political journey, Hon. Hamenu highlighted his extensive involvement across various levels of the party. His background includes serving as a Branch Executive, Polling Agent, Election Task Force Member, Elected Assembly Member, and a member of both the Ketu North and Volta Regional Communications Teams. He is also currently serving his second term as the Ketu North Constituency Youth Organizer.
He emphasized that these diverse experiences have given him a deep understanding of the challenges, priorities, and aspirations of young people across the region.
Combining his grassroots background with his administrative experience at the YEA, Hon. Hamenu expressed his readiness to strengthen youth empowerment and lead strategic mobilization efforts for the party.
"The future of the NDC belongs to a mobilized, resilient, and well-resourced youth front. Together, let us build a formidable force that delivers resounding electoral success," he added.
