On Thursday, August 13, 2026, the President of the National Defence University (NDU), Air Vice Marshal Felix Adom Asante, visited the university’s site in Teshie to evaluate progress on ongoing construction work.
Walking the grounds alongside key leadership, AVM Asante urged contractors and consultants to keep the project on track for timely delivery.
According to Mr. Eric Osei Tutu Agyemang, Chief Consultant for Masuab Consult Limited, the project stands at roughly 10 percent completion. Mr. Agyemang noted that while the project team faces a few operational challenges, they are committed to working tirelessly to stay on target.
When complete, NDU will bring various defence institutions together within a unified system, offering advanced security and intelligence studies to both military officers and civilian students.
The delegation accompanying the NDU President included Col. Donald Acquah (Director of Corporate Affairs & PR), Col. John Kweku Hooper (Director of Research), and representatives from the Department of Engineering Services.
