Massive Stir Erupts As Pictures of MP ‘Teary’ Digging His Late Mother’s Grave Hits Online -See Photos

The member of parliament for Bawku Central Constituency, Mahama Ayariga buried the mortal remains of his late mother, Charity Boya Abdullai yesterday.
As the tradition require, the son is supposed to bury their parents, so regardless of one’s status in life, if his parents dies before them, they are mandated to bury the mother.
The burial ceremony saw the number of clergy, Colleagues parliamentarians, NDC Party Leaders, Stalwarts and Friends from far and near joining the member of parliament in laying his mother to rest at Bawku yesterday.
Photos of Mahama Ayariga doing the requirements of the tradition has since gone viral. It’s very sad watching someone bury their mother who sacrificed their life to raise them up, but as the traditional sayings goes, death is inevitable.
The former minister cum parliamentarian expressed gratitude to everyone who joined him in burying his mother in a Facebook post;
“Words cannot express our gratitude to all those who joined us physically in Bawku and those who supported us with their thoughts, prayers and offered assistance in diverse ways at this difficult moment. We are grateful. May Mum’s Soul Rest in Peace” he wrote.
