There are approximately 6 key accredited nursing colleges and midwifery institutions in the volta region of Ghana. These include both public and private colleges, a university department, and private institutions.

• Midwifery Training School -Hohoe (Public)
• Nurses Training college – Keta (Public)
• Margret Marquart Catholic Nursing - Kpando (Private)
• Modal College – Sogakope (Private)
