Hon. Okudzeto Donates Branded Kits to North Tongu Athletes Ahead of Basic School Sports Tournament

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Minister for Foreign Affairs donates sets of branded sports kits and ware to athletes from North Tongu ahead of their 55th Annual Basic School Sports Festival slated to be held in Akatsi from August 15–21, 2026.

This is a gesture that depicts efforts to youth empower. The donation by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP & Minister, was presented to the Education Directorate at Mepe by comrades Dzesi Kwame Torku, Mornyuie Kennedy and Pius Amedzor Dabah.

Items being donated includes 100 track suits, 50 athlete jerseys, and jerseys for netball, volleyball and football with others that are alternatively used as support.

Officials say the gesture is to boost confidence and team spirit as North Tongu seeks to retain the title.
