1 min read

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Hon Eric Edem Agbana on Wednesday 5 August 2026, have attended a high-powered meeting chaired by the distinguished Professor Christine Amoako-Nuamah and Professor Addai Mensah. The meeting is intended to address issues concerning the impact of Education.

This move reaffirms the conviction that Ghana does not lack the intellectual capital required to address the policy challenges confronting the education sector.

The depth of knowledge, the richness of analysis, and the practical insights discussed at this meeting is one on the right path to addressing educational issues.

"Across our universities, research institutions, and professional bodies are many accomplished scholars and practitioners with the expertise to shape evidence-based reforms. Our challenge, therefore, is not the absence of knowledge, but our ability to systematically harness it for public policy and national development." Hon Agbana states in a facebook post.

"As we pursue meaningful reforms in education, we must strengthen the interface between academia and policymaking. The experience, research, and intellectual contributions of our experts should be deliberately integrated into the policy process to ensure that our decisions are informed by evidence, guided by best practice, and responsive to the needs of our nation". He concluded
