The Member of Parliament for Ho West Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah together with members from GETFund recently met with executive leaders at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The high-level meeting aimed to establish a long-term collaboration between the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and Bentley University, opening doors for Ghanaian scholars to pursue specialized academic programs under GETFund sponsorship.
Chaired by Bentley’s Provost, Professor Paul Tesluk, the executive session explored key initiatives to integrate Bentley into GETFund’s list of official partner institutions. Beyond granting Ghanaian students access to world-class business and technical training, the proposed alliance emphasizes bilateral academic exchange, enabling faculty from both Bentley and Ghanaian universities to engage in collaborative research and instruction.
To formalize the initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will soon be submitted to the GETFund Board for immediate review and approval, setting the framework for a seamless rollout. This emerging partnership reflects growing optimism across Ghana, promising new educational pathways and global exposure for the nation's future leaders.
