As the National Democratic Congress (NDC) prepares for its Volta Regional Executive Elections on November 15, 2026, delegates across the region are evaluating key leadership candidates. Among the prominent figures stepping forward is Frank Selorm K. Ankutse, a businessman and dedicated party operative from Hohoe. Formally declaring his candidacy for Volta Regional Deputy Treasurer under the campaign banner Mitso Midzo, Ankutse brings corporate leadership and a strong financial vision to the party's regional administration.
Frank Ankutse’s private sector experience underpins his strategy for the regional treasury. As the head of Ankies Construction Group and Ganeva Investments Limited, he has directed enterprise operations centered on structural management and fiscal discipline. His commercial background gives him practical insight into resource mobilization, financial controls, and strategic investment essential tools for running a well-funded regional party structure.
Ankutse’s engagement in frontline national politics expanded significantly during the 2023 NDC Parliamentary Primaries in Hohoe, where he contested as an aspirant. Following the primaries, Ankutse continued his work across the region, building a reputation as a loyal party activist focused on collective party growth.

On January 7, 2025, Ankutse joined party leadership and supporters at the inauguration of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.
