The Paramount Chief of Anfoeta, Togbe Kwasi Drah VII, has urged the Director-General of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to introduce carpentry and plumbing programs at the Anfoeta Technical Institute.

Addressing community members and dignitaries at the recent Anfoeta Yam Festival Celebration Durbar, the chief highlighted the urgent need to empower youth through hands-on technical skills that drive employment and economic independence.

"I appeal to the Director-General of TVET to pave the way for the inclusion of carpentry and plumbing courses in the curriculum of Anfoeta Technical Institute," Togbe Kwasi Drah VII stated. "This will open up more opportunities for our youth and equip them with practical skills to become self-reliant."

He stressed that adding these trades would expand the vocational options available to local young people while directly addressing the region's rising demand for qualified artisans.

Togbe Kwasi Drah VII expressed optimism that TVET authorities will act favorably on the request and expedite the introduction of both programs at the institution.
