Accra New Town: Father ‘irons’ 16-years-old daughter and pours hot water on her for taking his GH¢5 (Video)

A father at Accra New Town has burnt the body of his daughter for taking his money.

The man burnt his own biological daughter for taking his GH¢5

On the 22rd of September 2021, the father woke up in afternoon to find his money missing.

The 16-year-old daughter who had returned from school owned up and told her father that she took the money as she was hungry.

The father reprimanded her, asking her why she didn’t wake him up to ask for the money.

He then picked a heated iron, used it on her and beat her to pulp.

As if that wasn’t enough punishment, the father boiled water and poured it on her.

The mother of the victim, Memuna Isaah reported her husband to the police who sent him to court today.

At court, he pleaded not guilty and the judge gave him a GH¢80,000 bail with 3 sureties, 2 to be justified.

He is yet to meet the bail requirements so he still remains in police custody till the case returns to court on October 16, 2021.
